The incident unfolded on Thursday, March 6, when emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and found the worker stranded on the scaffolding with a back injury. Firefighters from Rescue 4, Tower Ladder 11, and Ladder 12 quickly sprang into action, climbing through a window to reach him.

Photos from the rescue were captured by local fire buff Domenic Giuseppe Ramacciato, which showed a dramatic scene as crews raced to help the injured worker.

Using a rope system, firefighters secured the injured worker onto a backboard and stokes basket before carefully bringing him back inside the building.

Once safely inside, he was transferred to Empress EMS for medical care, firefighters said.
